Styled for Spring in Napa Valley

Spring has sprung and I am planning a trip to Napa Valley for a much needed girls weekend. What's the topic of conversation in our group chat? The fashion of course. We have been sharing outfit ideas for weeks and I am excited to share with you, the amazing outfits I have picked out for this wine country adventure.

Napa is an incredible wine mecca as we all know and that is the reason for this trip and the location selection. In fact, we are staying on the edge of Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley which allows for us to experience both.

While I could spend weeks basking in the beauty of Northern California wine country, we are packing a lot into three days. But today, we are starting with the style. Let's jump in.

Whenever we go on a trip I always fill out my packing list well ahead of time. It doesn't matter where we go, I always style my outfits in advance so I know I have everything packed and have my style planned out for each day.

Even though this trip is much shorter than our typical vacation, I have my packing guide all ready to go which makes packing simple. For each day, my plan looks a little something like this:

  • Travel Day

  • Travel: AM

  • Dining: Restaurant in Napa - Casual Dressy

  • Outfit 1: leggings, wine t-shirt, sweatshirt, flip flops, wine earrings

  • Outfit 2: checkered dress and gold flip flops or navy blue halter lace dress and heels and wine earrings

For travel, I like to be comfortable. I get cold on airplanes so regardless of the time of the year I always wear leggings and long sleeves. For this trip, I am wearing my go-to leggings from Amazon that I swear by and have in 15 colors. I purchased a wine t shirt several months back which is perfect for travel day. I will also take a sweatshirt that can easily be removed if I get warm or when I land and wine earrings from our Etsy shop.

For that evening I am deciding between two outfits. Our dinner is at a posh Napa dining location with a casual dressy dress code. I have a more whimsical casual outfit that I would pair with gold sandals or platforms. This dress is a muted peach and cream gingham puff sleeve dress. The dress is from Red Dress Boutique but the exact dress is sold out. Here a couple of simlar ones that I love just as much. This peach and cream gingham dress is longer and a different style but is the exact fabric and this floral print puff sleeve dress is the same style but different fabric and colors.

My second option for dinner that night is a more formal option. I love this navy blue lace halter dress. I purchased this as an option for a wedding and never wore it. This could be the perfect opportunity, paired with nude heels.

Our first full day in wine country we are going on a trolley excursion around Sonoma. We are excited to explore family-owned and smaller wineries as opposed to the more well-known vintners. This tour includes lunch and visits three Sonoma wineries.

For this day, I am debating between two dresses. My style inspiration for this day is garden party spring. I think I have two very perfect options to decide between.

The first option is a fun and flirty white tie-front babydoll dress with hot pink flowers. I love this dress and think it will be perfect for Sonoma.

The second option is a more flowy, floral tie sleeve smocked midi/maxi dress from Magnolia Boutique.

For dinner that evening we are walking to a cute mexican restaurant near where we are staying. I have the perfect dress in my closet for this occasion and I cannot wat to finally wear it. I have taken this dress one at least four trips and never wore it and I love it so much. I can't wait to finally put it on and take it out. I love bright colors and this bright yellow eyelet lace midi dress from Red Dress Boutique is just that and more.

Saturday we are headed to Napa and three really exciting wineries. I prefer and am excited to visit some smaller wineries including Ledson winery which is a stunning winery in a castle nestled in the hills. I cannot express to you my excitement to visit this winery. Ledson winery has a rich history and during the wine country fires became gravely threatened but survived the blaze!

For this day, I am contemplating a fun jumpsuit. Polka dots always represent fun for me and wine tours are most definitely fun! This halter beige and cream polka dot jumpsuit is casual, comfy and stylish. The perfect pairing for wine.

My other option for our final day is a sunshiney bright, yellow flowy babydoll dress from Impressions Boutique.

For dinner that night, we are headed to a Michelin Star restaurant in Sonoma and we are excited to get dressed up and enjoy a culinary experience of locally sourced food and beverages. The perfect end to a perfect weekend.

I found the perfect satin floral midi cocktail dress for this dinner. Lulu's boutique is one of my go-to's for cocktail and event dresses and this one did not disappoint.

Those are the outfits that I have picked out for this fun-filled weekend exploring California's wine country. This is going to be an awesome adventure and I can't wait to embark on it with some amazing outfits in tow.
