Five Things To Remember When Packing for Europe
If you are planning a trip to Europe, there are a few things you are going to want to remember. One, don’t overpack. Whether you are traveling to Northern Europe where it is going to be a little chillier or the Mediterranean in July when it is hotter than hot, you don’t want to overpack. Hauling all of that stuff around Europe is not going to be fun.
Here are five things you don’t want to forget no matter where you are going in Europe. We take these on each and every trip over the pond and we won’t go without them.
This is a must. As most of you know, Europe has different wall plugs than the U.S., these adapters will allow you to use your chargers and plug them into the wall.
This bag is good for all sorts of trips. It packs flat has a locking pouch, is RFID safe, slash resistant and adjustable. Also, I have worn it in several torrential downpours and all of my things stayed dry that were inside. It holds a good amount of stuff as well. It is the perfect bag, not too big or too small for travel.
My husband and I joke that we could and would consider moving to places in Europe if it weren’t for the lack of water in restaurants or anywhere for that matter, ice and air conditioning. And we’re only half joking. These water bottles have been our go-to for years. I take them everywhere. In fact, I even drink out of them at home. I always have one on me. The three we have that I rotate are used seven days a week, go on every trip with us, any time I go in the car, it’s with me and these have lasted us 5 years and are nowhere near done. A great value and they come with several lids for your preference.
Hand sanitizer is good wherever you are going. Don’t leave home without it. Because people are gross. We love this hydrating hand sanitizer not only does it smell great, but it moisturizes as well. They are small and compact and easily fit in a pocket without bulging or in any bag.
To go with your European adapter you will want a charging port for all of your devices. This allow you to plug in a number of USB cords and charge all of your devices using only one adapter. These are also great for cruise ships as they are allowed but things like power strips are not.
