Festival Must-Haves: Items You Didn't Know You Needed to Take to an Epcot Festival

Festivals are a great way to get some amazing amazing food, break out of your comfort zone and spend a day or more eating and drinking around the world.

There are some things you need to pack in that park bag before you head to Epcot! But, don't worry. We've got you covered.

Insulated Water Bottle

Food and Wine Festival is during the hottest time of the year. It is expensive to continue to buy waters at booths. Especially since a bottle, which will not keep you hydrated for long is over $3.00 a bottle at this time. These bottles come in a variety of sizes but we are able to keep them in our big park bag of course, and the 30 ounce also fits in my smaller two Loungefly park bags.

There are a variety of places to fill your bottle around Epcot and all the Disney parks. You have to stay hydrated in Disney and that means water. Not soda, not tea, water. This insulated Iron Flask will keep your water cold and keep you hydrated so that can enjoy your day.

Bamboo Travel Cutlery

Wait? Disney doesn't have forks and spoons at the booths? They do but they are plastic and if you are getting a knew cutlery set or even piece of cutlery at each kitchen by then end of the day, you could have wasted a dozen or more pieces of single use plastic.

These bamboo cutlery sets are perfect.

Travel Hand Sanitzer

Those ribs are sticky y'all! You're going to need some hand sanitzer or hand wipes. We actually carry both in our park bag just in case. Especially when you are eating or getting on and off a lot of attractions you need to keep those hands clean.

Think of it this way. You stood in line at Frozen Ever After for 45 minutes, you saw that kid 5 groups up picking his nose, then touching the hand railing. Licking the hand railing and probably you didn't even see. You touched that same hand rail. You need hand sanitizer before you put that delicious donut from The Donut Box in your mouth. You're welcome.

Disney Gift Card Wristband

These are so simple and easy to use. These wristbands gift cards are available all over Epcot during festivals. It's the easiest way to keep track of what you are spending and to keep your funds right on your wrist. It works just like any gift card and can be used at any park just like a regular Disney gift card. But, this one is on your wrist.

Pen or Pencil

Keep track of those amazing and not-so amazing festival finds with a pen or pencil. This helps you keep up with where you have been and where you want to go. Don't forget your festival passport! This is your key to all things festival.

Sun Bum Premium Day Tripper

Protect your skin in the sun with this awesome travel sun kit. SPF 30, Cool down lotion for when the sun gets too instense and you need a little cool down and SPF 30 lip balm. Perfect to throw in your park bag before a long day of foodie fun at Epcot or any park!

There's a lot to think about when planning a Disney trip. Don't worry, we'll cover the hard stuff. We just want to make your Disney trip the best possible trip and we want you to be as prepared as you can.
